I added a custom cursor lol

11 April, 2026

I added a bunch today! The "Links" page exists now, albeit with only one link. I made a title card with some letter beads and a background remover. The biggest piece of progress is the tiling background I made for the index page! It doesn't line up perfectly but you can only get so far with crayons and a phone camera. I lowkey want to add a custom cursor.

It's been a long time and tbh I barely remember what half of these terms mean. I gave up on fixing the background images and Google fonts from the homepage but at least it isn't mysteriously white background black Times New Roman anymore. Not sure why that happened.

I worked on adding pages for "Ponies" and actually made decent progress!! The rainbow gradient is so ugly I love it. Google Fonts ended up working there??? God knows why and he won't tell me. Formatting the images and page links will be a journey. The site also has a shitty favicon now!

Next steps will be figuring out how to display images in a grid on the pony gallery, adding the "Credits" page as I incorporate more graphics, and (if I'm brave enough) re-adding background images to the homepage.

Today, I made history by creating a second non-index page. The other pages on the sidebar are broken and don't exist yet, so I'm proud of you for finding this one. I also made a sidebar with links! I guess "made" is a strong term-- I used this tutorial from W3 Schools for reference.

I'd love for each page to have a different color scheme and style, but that'll take some work. I'm tempted to give up on having an external css sheet and design everything to be as un-cohesive as possible. My next goals are to make the other links on the sidebar actually go somewhere, learn how to add images, and add a favicon to this site! A stretch goal is to embed audio into the playlist page so you can click on songs.

hello world!

i am learning to code html (and code in general) for the first time bc it's unlike any hobby i've tried before and i think that 90s websites are cool! it is currently january 8th, 2026 :)

current goals:
~ build some kind of multi-page organization
~ figure out how to insert images
~ attempt some sort of external css style sheet
